Members and others will be aware that for some time your Society has been facilitating the digitisation of Wagga Newspapers, The Daily Advertiser and Wagga Express in their various forms.
Our latest project has been the digitisation of the Wagga Express from 1930 until its closure in 1939. We are very grateful to our partners, who on this occassion have been the State Library of NSW, Wagga City Council and the CSU Regional Archives who have provided fantastic support and encouragement for the project. Of course none of this would be possible without the National Library of Australia and their fabulous Trove facility and web presence.
It may be a few weeks yet before the current project is completed but much of it is live now so click here to check it out.
