On this occassion, Mrs Greer and Mrs Dunn together with their partners took out first and second prizes respectively.[CSURA RW5.408]
Following service in World War One, Audrey Headley married Ruth Blake in 1921; and a daughter, Margaret, was born in 1925. He died tragically on December 9, 1925 at the age of thirty-four, after a train crashed into his car as he was passing over the level crossing at Shepherd’s Siding hurling him several metres away from the track.
