Railway Museum – our July Meeting

Railway Barracks – Rest House 61 Railway Street (Cnr Richard Street)

There is a change of date and location for our July meeting which will now be held in the Wagga railway precinct on Friday 21st July. We will start at 10am at the Railway Barracks, 61 Railway Street (pictured above)

The Barracks are part of the Wagga Railway Museum and after a short meeting at the Barracks we will tour the Railway Museums including the Barracks, the Museum located on the Railway platform and other nearby areas. We will be finished by 12 noon when it is hoped that many members will stay on for lunch at the Astor Hotel.

You can see more details of the museum on the Wagga Rail Heritage Museum Website

Remember members, guests and visitors are welcome to attend any of our meetings. Why not bring some friends along.

This meeting replaces our regular meeting which would normally have been held on Monday, 17th July at the Museum of the Riverina (Botanic Gardens site). The day is being organised by committee member, Geoff Haddon and if you have any questions he can be reached at 6922 4403.
