Our Guest Speaker, this Monday 20th March will be Wayne Doubleday, Manager, CSU Regional Archives and University Art Collection who will be speaking to us about local digitisation projects supported by CSU Regional Archives, the Royal Australian Historical Society and your own Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society. These include the digitisation of our Societies collections held at the archives and a substantial quantity of RVN-2 television news footage from the 1970’s.
Also attending will be Sam Leah. Project Officer from Wagga Wagga City Council who will briefly outline Council’s current planning process for the future development of our Museum site in the Botanic Gardens.
Members, guests and visitors are all welcome to attend with the meeting to start at 7.30pm at the Museum of the Riverina, Botanic Gardens site.
