In 1994 a photo album featuring some seventy photos of Wagga Wagga and surrounding districts was rescued from someone’s rubbish, in Sydney, and passed on to the Wagga Wagga City Library.
The album was professionally restored and is now a prominent feature within the Wagga Wagga City Library.
The album was originally presented to John Thomas Keating who had been the chairman of the Wagga Wagga Land Board from 1904 till March 1911 and the photos were all taken prior to his departure from Wagga Wagga in 1911.
