  • Wagga Council recreation committee recommended that the aging and damaged Vampire aeroplane at Bolton Park be replaced with a newly renovated aircraft.
  • Lee Maddison, Tanya Doherty and seven other Wagga women have formed a share investment club called Women’s Ethical Beginnings which will based on ethical investment.
  • Robbie Jackson, Chris Jackson, Nick Mavroudis, Mark Limbrick, Tim Morrison and Justin Ward all received trophies at the Kooringal Cricket Club’s annual presentation night.
  • Glenfield residents expressed concern and disappointment in a proposed multi-function centre to be built in the suburb.

  • Wagga’s oldest native-born resident, Mrs Matilda Kenneally, died this week at the age of 93.
  • Director of the Wagga Education Centre, Mick Weaver said that the centre which has been operating for about four months was holding an open day this week.
