Edna Busse passes aged 100

Renowned international ballet dancer, Edna Busse OA, who established her ballet school in Wagga in 1968 passed away on 2nd January 2019 aged 100 years.

    Such sad news. Miss Busse was my ballet teacher in the 70’s. She was amazing! Her technique was impeccable and although she was strict she was kind. I remember how beautifully dressed she always was. Stylish full skirts with a belt cinched into her tiny waist and her hair perfectly styled. She was an incredible role model and I still love ballet today. Rest In Peace Miss Busse.
