Bill Bruce was featured in the Daily Advertiser 25 years ago as he was celebrating his 90th birthday and 77 years as a barber.
Mr Bruce started his apprenticeship at the age of 13 in 1914 at Curley’s Barber Shop in Wagga.
After completing his apprenticeship he worked in Boree Creek, Culcairn, Lockhart and Marrar before returning to Wagga in 1927.
In 1937 he bought his present business, Bruce’s Hairdressers in Baylis Street.
