- Mr Harold Fife has been re-elected president of the Wagga RSL sub-branch with vice-presidents Mr C Knott, Mr G Simpson and Mr R Coveny.
- Wagga spin bowler, Tom Sumski and wicket keeper Col Stewart combined to dismiss three South Wagga Batsmen playing at Gissing Oval.
