- 200 people attended a public exhibition by the Riverina Lapidary Club at their rooms in Small Street.
- Frederick Button, architect was the first nomination received for the upcoming Wagga City Council elections.
- Ald Errolla Heard and former Mayor, Ald Ivan Jack have both decided against seeking re-election at the Wagga City Council poll on December 7.
- Mrs Peberdy was made a life member and John Pratt was elected president of the Wagga District Pony Club and at the Club’s Annual General Meeting.
