Fifty years ago the Daily Advertiser reported that two Wagga Scouts, Michael Nye and Geoffrey Harris had received their Queens Scout badges, the highest honour a boy can gain in Scouting. An official presentation of the Royal Certificates will be made by the Governor of N.S.W. Sir Roden Cutler in the grounds of Government House, Sydney, on 6th May 1967.
