Wagga City Bowling Club held a farewell for Charlie Duggin. He is pictured in the Daily Advertiser with Club President Ernie Brunskill and Wagga District President, Keith Brunskill.
Mr Duggin had retired and was leaving Wagga to live in Sydney.
The Wagga Wagga Bowling Club was officially opened on 26th January 1912 with Mr. J. J. Scott and Mr. E. W. Booty as foundation president and secretary respectively. Many years later the Club merged with the Wagga Leagues Bowling Club. The Bishop Dwyer Retirement Village now occupies the original site off Johnston Street and Henly Lane.
