Miss Robyn Small celebrated her 21st birthday 50 years ago with a formal dinner party at her parents home. Miss Small who is the second daughter of Mr and Mrs C Small of Peter Street Wagga is a school teacher at Ardlethan.
She is pictured in the Daily Advertiser receiving the traditional key from her father while Mrs Small watches.
Robyn’s father was well known as Cos Small, a local Pharmacist who purchased his Pharmacy in Baylis Street from Ernie Selff, another well known local identity about 1938. The Pharmacy had been established about 1915 by Mr A J Watt from Gundagai at 66 Baylis Street and is still operated today from the same site by Michael O’Reilly.
