WAGGA WAGGA GAOL – PHOTOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION BOOK (188-1883)

Extracts from Wagga Wagga Gaol Photographic Description Book (1880-1883).
An Excel file listing 120 prisoners that constitute the only known photographic records that exist for this gaol.
The file does not contain photos – only a list of those prisoners whose photos were taken.
Copies of photos can be obtained through State Records, who hold the original documents plus microfilm copy.
Note that some prisoners may have records at other gaols eg Goulburn, or Darlinghurst, et al.
Wagga Wagga Gaol prisoner photographic description records are now included in the State Records’ Index to Gaol Photos.
