  • North Wagga was evacuated in anticipation of the Murrumbidgee River reaching a height of 34 feet. The river subsequently peaked at 35 foot, 2 inches inundating almost all of the 200 houses in North Wagga with between five and eight feet of water.
  • A special rail service is operating between Wagga, Junee and Bomen to provide emergency transport because of severe flooding of the Olympic Way at North Wagga.
