- Former citizen of the year and long-time staunch supporter of Wagga Base Hospital, Vince Harvey died after a short illness.
- Wagga City Council have given the proprietors of Eileen’s Gone Potty, Eileen and David Wealand, 30 days to remove “Granny”, a life size doll which graces the footpath outside their store in Docker Street.
- There are 400 international students from about 30 countries studying at CSU’s Wagga campus and Mayor, Peter Dale has launched a program to encourage them to take home positive memories of Wagga and the University.
