Excursion to the RAAF Heritage Centre, Forest Hill.
On Saturday 21st July eighteen members of the Society met at the former Guard House for a tour of the RAAF Heritage Centre.
The Heritage Centre is housed within the old Guard House, with a number of planes on display in the open area to the east of this edifice.
There is parking for visitors at the site, and all of the above is located immediately before the RAAF Base security check point.
The volunteer staff were very helpful and the members thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
There were a number of pamphlets available at the Centre and two of these have been scanned for the information of those who may be interested.
