- The Riverina’s top jockey, Jim McIntyre has retired from race riding to become a fifth form student at Wagga’s Trinity High School.
- Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Burnett presented a cheque for $443 to Radio 2WG General Manager, Mr K Buntain to be donated to the Haven appeal.
