    G’Day Peter,
    1. Re: Former Fitzroy, Victorian interstate and All-Australian wingman, Noel Jarvis, was a guest of Turvey Park… Is the Turvey Park president wearing the hat (Mr Jim Egan) the teacher who was at the Gurwood Street school when we were there? It looks like him!
    2. Re: Southern Riverina County Council’s Chief Electrical Engineer, Mr H Wilson… Is the photo correctly captioned as “Mr J Colquhoun” or is it Mr H Wilson? I note that John Edgar Colquhoun was the County Clerk at the former SRCC and that he was a brother of Robert Stephen Colquhoun who was married to Sylvia Ellice Saxon, my mother’s 1st cousin and thus my 1st cousin once removed.
    Thanks, and Cheers,
    Stewart West

    • Peter Gissing says

      Hi Stewart,
      1. Yes that is the same Jim Egan that we knew at Gurwood Street.
      2. That is the DA caption and I believe it to be John Colquhoun so you are in luck! The photo was part of the story which also referred to Mr Wilson and I should have made this clearer.
      Thanks,
      Peter
